It's November once again and its Nanowrimo Month!! What is Nanowrimo? It's National Novel Writing Month. To read more about it, you can visit www.nanowrimo.org.
Writing isn't my cup of tea. In fact, I'd put it off at the last minute if I needed to write at school or at work. In one of my classes in grad school, I made a report about writing. About, how its not about being inspired when you have to write or else, writers won't have food on their tables. Even my friend (who already passed away), Ms. Babes said that I should just keep on writing and writing until it feels like second nature and then it won't feel that difficult to do. It's still difficult to start writing but once I get over that initial writer's block, it seems to flow easier. That's what I'm hoping with this Nanowrimo event.
Let's get our pencils, er...keyboards ready and type away. It starts November 1, today and ends on the 30th. I started with my 1,667 words a day, but went beyond that. I'm trying to make sure that what with work, I'd still be able to meet the deadlines. Last year, I made it and this year, I really want to....
So I'm off to find my muse....or rather, wake up my muse. I'm going to need her for the month of November....
