Training

Last September 10, I started my training and the bright side is, its pretty accessible from where I live and its in a mall. I thought I'd be dying to go around the mall during the breaks but its not happening! The only kind of malling I do is when I walk around with another trainee, Donna in the fourth floor or sometimes the third floor. Most of the time, we just sit around at the lounge area just outside the "church," wait for the break to end and then head back to the Kinder room as soon as we see our trainers and fellow trainees head back in when the break ends.

I never truly realized how complicated the English language is, well, Midwestern American English as well. I'll never look at the letter T the same way again. Who knew they had so many sounds with so many rules to remember, that there are more z sounds than s sounds. Or the voiced and voiceless th. Sometimes I end up hesitating before speaking up. I try to think and look back whether I'm pronouncing them in the way that words should be pronounced.

Even if I don't pass this training, I would definitely still come out the winner. At least I'd feel confident about speaking the language and who knows, maybe next time, I'll be applying abroad??? Who knows where the wind will take me.
