Yeah, haven't been writing as much. Why? Finally I started my internship / practicum at the Pasay City SPED Center. Its in Pasay City, just next to Jose Rizal Elementary School. Its along J. Galvez Street, near the Pasay City Hall. Along the stretch where you see the Philippine School for the Deaf and the Philippine National School for the Blind.
I started June 19 and made the rounds of observing the different classes. The only classes which I probably haven't visited were Transition - Academics and Transition - Vocational (another class). Otherwise, I saw it all, from Early Intervention, Level I, Level II, Multilevel, Transitional - Prevocational and Transition - Vocational (boys).
To say that it was enlightening and interesting is an understatement because its so much more.
I'm definitely enjoying my stay there as well as being continually challenged.
Way to go SPED teachers!! It takes a really special breed of people to do your job. Hats off!!!
