The day was pretty busy. I was making report cards and yep, I haven't finished them yet. And then I have to make the progress reports as well...arghhh....hehehe...I can do it, I can do it, I can do it!
Anyways, to take a break from a day of looking at samples of students' work, I decided to eat dinner, again. I had dinner around threeish...hehehe...yeah, dinner that early. Then I was hungry again sevenish so I decided to raid the fridge and see what else was appetizing. Well, I had siomai left which I had bought from Trader Joe's. Yum, yum, I love TJ. Interesting fact about it that I read somewhere, apparently, the owner started a chain in Germany, I don't recall which part it was, him and his brother. And they're both billionaires who made it to the I think the Forbes' list? Yeah, I'm contributing to their wealth, lol.
So, that was dinner, siomai with rice and of course, soda to keep me up. Dinner done, I did the dishes. Then thought about cleaning the bathroom and throwing away my trash. So I changed into my yoga pants and put on my down coat and took the two trash bags. And boy, was I glad that I bundled up because it was so windy and cold outside...burr...I just took it for granted that it would be warm since it was warm in the apartment with the furnace on. Burrr....then I took a detour to the mailbox and nope, no mail. I was hoping to get a notice from Amazon saying that the books that I ordered had arrived. Oh well, wishful thinking. And nope, they're not for me but for my class. With the budget cuts here, I figure I might as well buy something I could use for years to come and they're my personal copy as well.
Back at home, I got the spray and started spraying the sides of the bathroom to take out the scum. Left it for a few minutes and then started pouring Toilet duck over the toilet bowl. Again, letting that sit for a while. Then I went to the cupboard and took out a new sponge (thank goodness we have tons of sponges from Costco) so I didn't have any qualms about using them to clean the sink and the toilet bowl as well as the walls of the shower and the bathtub as well. Didn't scrub that hard but I did scrub and then started to rinse them with water. Cleaned the toilet bowl as well with the umm...scrubber, lol. Then flushed the toilet. Threw out the pieces of paper and hair at sides of the sink. Fixed the bottles in there as well and kept the hair dryer box inside the cupboard as well.
Then I proceeded to sweep the hair on the floor and threw them in the trash can. Then I got the Windex from the kitchen and cleaned the bathroom mirror as well. Whew, that was tiring. I think I pretty much cleaned it again. I don't really care much for the living room, lol, cause I don't stay there so much anyways, I'd rather hibernate in my room. But the bathroom? Yikers, I use it so often so I might as well keep it "clean" well according to my definition anyways.
And that was my "break" and now, I'm tired and my brain is tired as well. I might as well do the report cards again tomorrow. I know I'll be up early like today and I'm really looking forward to finishing at least the report cards tomorrow afternoon.
Now, if only I can watch "Wish Ko Lang..."
