First Week on the PM shift

Yesterday was my first week working during the PM shift. It was sort of surreal, and kind of not. I don't really sleep early anymore so working late was nothing new to me. Instead of spending it at home watching TV, I was at the office working.

It's been awhile since I've worked so I'm really still adjusting. But I love learning new things and doing things differently, from what I've used to do. At the same time, it is stressful too because its something new. I remember one of my superiors at DPS telling me that I was too stuck with my "comfort zone." If anything, those words that she said to me, I saw it as a challenge to go beyond what she would probably expect me to do. I finished my masters degree while working and now, I'm learning something new. So I guess I've proven her wrong...hehehe...so Ms. Lorie, you're wrong....old dogs can learn new tricks. And I'm looking forward to learning more tricks in the future. I will only stop learning when I'm dead and buried six feet under. But until then, I'll go where the wind takes me...hopefully, somewhere far away next year...hehehe...
