Someday we'll know...

[Mandy] Ninety miles outside Chicago
Can’t stop driving I don’t know why
So many questions, I need an answer
Two years later you're still on my mind

[Jonathan] Whatever happened to Amelia Earheart?
Who holds the stars up in the sky?
Is true love just once in a lifetime?

[Both] Did the captain of the Titanic cry?

Oh, Someday we’ll know
[Mandy] If love can move a mountain
[Both] Someday we’ll know
[Jonathan] Why the sky is blue
[Both] Someday we’ll know
Why I wasn’t meant for you...

[Mandy] Does anybody know the way to Atlantis?
[Jonathan] Or what the wind says when she cries?
[Mandy] I’m speeding by the place that I met you

[Both] For the ninety-seventh time...Tonight

Someday we’ll know
[Mandy] If love can move a mountain
[Both] Someday we’ll know
[Jonathan] Why the sky is blue
[Both] Someday we’ll know
Why I wasn’t meant for you...
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Someday we’ll know
[Jonathan] Why Samson loved Dalilah?
[Both] One day I'll go
[Mandy] Dancing on the moon
[Both] Someday you’ll know
That I was the one for you....

[Both] Open up the world

[Mandy] I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow

[Jonathan] Watched the stars crash in the sea

[Mandy] If I can ask God just one question

[Both] Why aren’t you here with me tonight?

Oh, Someday we’ll know
[Jonathan] If love can move a mountain
[Both] Someday we’ll know
[Mandy] Why the sky is blue
[Both] Someday we’ll know
Why I wasn’t meant for you...
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Someday we’ll know
[Jonathan] Why Samson loved Dalilah
[Both] One day I'll go
[Mandy] Dancing on the moon
[Both] Someday you’ll know
That I was the one for you....

Ally McBeal

During the late 1990s, I was hooked on the television show Ally McBeal. It was played by Calista Flockhart and several interesting characters like "The Biscuit" and of course, the love of her life, "Bill Thomas" who of course died, so they never actually ended up together.

Looking back just now, it made me realize that what she said mirrored exactly how I felt. I looked it up, something about choices and how we are the victims of our own choices.

Ally McBeal
:
Here I am, the victim of my own choices. And I'm just starting.

And while googling it, I found something even more interesting...maybe this one's meant for me...

"Ally McBeal: Once in a Lifetime (#1.15)" (1998)
Billy: Will you ever forgive my letting go?
Ally McBeal: I'll forgive it. But I'm still not sure I'll ever understand it.

Maybe I will never make sense of it myself. Who knows?

Ally McBeal: Looking backwards, many of the saddest times in my life turn out to be the happiest. So I must be happy now. Yeah. This is gonna be good. Why else would I be crying?

Until we meet again...

Sometimes words aren't enough, so I'll just say it in a song...

Never Say Good bye by Hayley Westenra

If I could take this moment forever
Turn the pages of my mind
To another place and time
We would never say goodbye
If I could find the words I would speak them
Then I wouldn't be tongue-tied
When I looked into your eyes
We would never say goodbye

If I could stop the moon ever rising
Day would not become the night
Wouldn't feel this cold inside
And we'd never say goodbye

I wish that our dreams were frozen
Then our hearts would not be broken
When we let each other go...

If I could steal this moment forever

Paint a picture-perfect smile
So our story stayed alive
We would never say goodbye

KT Tunstall - Other Side of the World

KT Tunstall - Other Side Of The World

Over the sea and far away
She's waiting like an iceberg
Waiting to change
But she's cold inside
She wants to be like the water

All the muscles tighten in her face
Buries her soul in one embrace
They're one and the same
Just like water

And the fire fades away
Most of everyday
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the other side of the world to me

On comes the panic light
Holding on with fingers and feelings alike
But the time has come
To move along

And the fire fades away
Most of everyday
Is full of tired excuses
But it's to hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the other side of the world

Can you help me
Can you let me go
And can you still love me
When you can't see me anymore

And the fire fades away
Most of everyday
Is full of tired excuses
But it's too hard to say
I wish it were simple
But we give up easily
You're close enough to see that
You're the other side of the world
You're the other side of the world
You're the other side of the world to me

*I love this song for a reason...because its true!

You know that I love you so...

Love you enough to let you go...

I want you to know, that it doesn't matter
Where we take this road someone's gotta go
And I want you to know, you couldn't have loved me better
But I want you to move on, so I'm already gone.
I'm already gone....

Autumn is in the air!

It started last week anyways, but I can really feel it. I'm using my heater at night, lol. Or maybe its just cause I feel cold real easily. Anyways, I'm going shopping, finally. Not shopping shopping but just shopping at my favorite haunts, ON, Payless and VS. Lol.
Oh yeah, my allergies are starting to act up so I know autumn is definitely here...grrr...
