Oh, where's mi muse???

It's almost the end of March and so far, not much written on paper about my case study. I seem to be uninspired...oh where, oh where are you mi muse???

Tsk tsk tsk...probably sunning herself out there in Bora (I wish!!) or in Galera (ha ha ha). Wishful thinking. But seriously, gotta get down and dirty and start writing because before you know it, May will be here, then June, then July, then gasp gasp gasp August!!!!

So, I'm gonna hibernate in my cave in LP and then start writing as if there is no tomorrow...and there are no more tomorrows, you ningas cogon!!! Ha ha ha...sigh...

My New Nephew....

Welcome Alexander Luc!! He was born on March 20, 2008 by CSPD at the Medical City weighing at 8 pounds and 12 ounces with apgar scores of 9 out of 9.

Hmm...I don't know what his nickname is, but I was teasing my sister I would call him "AL." Hehehe...anyways, now I've got two nephews, but no nieces...hmm....

Oh, and another astounding thing about him, his blood type is AB. Nope, he couldn't settle for A (my sister) or B (my brother-in-law) but he had to have the best of both worlds.

We love you "AL" and don't cry your eyes out, you'll have all the milk you want....hehe...

The Black Forest

I was watching a German TV program today and I found it really funny. One of the segments was about finding out about what makes a German, German...and the reporter talked about the Black Forest. There were the cuckoo (I'm not sure about the spelling) clocks, which they made, but exported mostly to the US as well as different kinds of clocks, from big to small clocks, and interestingly enough, they even have a clock association there. Hmm...

Then there's the Black Forest cake...yummy....where the cake maker / baker actually made more for tourists...not surprising. I would want a taste of the genuine Black Forest in the Black Forest.

Then there's the funny hat. I don't know what they called it, but it looked like there were red big berries on top of the hat which was made popular in a certain town there. But funnily enough, he couldn't find that kind of hat in 15 minutes in shops and in houses. So I guess they have probably outgrown the hat...hehehe...

The highlight of the segment was when the reporter asked four persons to race around the German flag being blindfolded and carrying a clock and a Black Forest cake.

I thought the segment was funny and well worth watching. Hopefully, I can catch that same reporter again. I'd certainly like to find out more about Germany from his viewpoint.

For the First Time Ever...

I'm so NOT looking forward to the end of the schoolyear. The Recognition Day at the PCSC was moved from the 28th to the 25th and I was sad to hear that.

Why???? This could mean only one thing, my externship will be even shorter. But no worries. I'm sure I'm going to reach the required number of hours. I'm just being selfish in that I want to spend more time there. I know, all good things must come to an end. Or maybe its just that I have to start writing my case study, and I'm just prolonging the agony...hehehe...I know, stop procrastinating and start writing!!!

I wish I could follow my own advice.

It's a New Month!!!

Okay, so its finally March 1....what the hep....

The day started pretty well. Woke up not so late, then mom came over. Yipee!!!

We went to our usual haunt, Jollibee and I wanted my Sulit Meal #1 but its only available during the weekdays so I had K1 and macaroni soup. Mom had the same too. Wow, busog.

Next stop, food court. Where as usual we made kwento. The neighbors, the cats, the dog and everything else under the sun. And then we had to go to the loo so we went to the second floor and lo and behold there were tons of people so we went to the other side. After our side trip, we had snacks. We went to Dunkins and ended up at Go Nuts. Then back to food court to enjoy our donuts in peace. Then to Surplus shops, both shops in Southmall to buy jeans for Apu. Then it was time to head home.

Traffic was heavy as usual but its understandable since Southmall is having its 3-day sale. We didn't do a lot of shopping but mom was glad she got a 10 percent discount on her purchases.

When I got home, I checked my email and mega panic!!! Gasp!!! I'm now behind in my documents...but I'm not alone. What a relief! Hopefully, I'll be able to send my documents by Wednesday night and they'll be able to get it Friday afternoon at the head office. Crossing my fingers!!!
