32 Things About Me

On this special day, at least for me, here are 32 things about me:

1 - I am a middle child. So that pretty much speaks a lot.

2 - We are all girls in the family (tres marias).

3 - I don't eat vegetable salads, or veggies that haven't been cooked. I'm not a cow or a goat and they're still alive, the veggies that is!!

4 - I like the color blue.

5 - Cooking hates me.

6 - I'm not too bad when it comes to cleaning.

7 - I almost didn't go to college. I wanted to give myself a break. But I did go. Good for me.

8 - But now, I can't seem to stop going to school. What's next? More school I think.

9 - I lived on my own away from family in Mindanao. I didn't know anyone there but it was a wonderful experience. I went to different places, GenSan, South Cotabato, Davao, Cagayan De Oro, and Camiguin. I still dream of taking that 20 stops trip all around Mindanao. Oh, the places you could see, not to mention the restrooms...hehehe..

10 - I'm afraid of snakes.

11 - I've been bitten by a dog twice. (not by the same dog)

12 - I'm the only one among my siblings who went to a public high school. Go Sci High!!!

13 - I love reading romance pocketbooks, Mills and Boon, Harlequin,  etc.

14 - I watched Pretty Woman twice on the big screen. I could never get enough of Richard Gere at that movie, yum yum.

15 - I love Legolas...drool drool. Take note, Legolas and not that dark haired guy...hehehehe.

16 - I actually hate writing. But I will write something if I have to.

17 - I'm camera shy. But I won't mind if you take my picture...hehehe...only when I'm in the mood.

18 - I'm not a good conversationalist on the phone...hmm...maybe its just that I'm not a good conversationalist, period.

19 - I don't have spatial intelligence. I almost always get lost despite receiving specific instructions. It is only when I get lost that I truly find myself...hehehe.

20 - I'm a believer in Chaos Theory, there is order in chaos.

21 - That is why I hate doing 5S because when I do that, I lose stuff.

22 - I love rice! I have to have rice at least once a day or else I feel so poor.

23 - I'm addicted to soda, Coke in particular but I can also drink Pepsi. What can I say, I'm adaptable. Yeah yeah, blah blah blah, soda is bad for your health.

24 - I'll only live once, I'll eat (or drink) what I want.

25 - I like to blog. (Is it obvious?)

26 - I love neopets.

27 - I love the beach!!! But I can't swim.

28 - My hometown is Cebu City.

29 - I don't drink alcoholic beverages anymore. Chalk it up to vanity. But once upon a time, I used to drink beer, vodka, gin and tequila, but not at the same time.

30 - I love cats and dogs. Which do I love more? I can't quite decide.

31 - I once thought I'd become a vet or a farmer.

32 - People think I'm a snob. I'm just cautious so before you judge me, GET TO KNOW ME!!!

And on that note, I'm off to celebrate...99 bottles of soda on a wall.

Last Day of Work

Today, April 4, marked my last day at work.

It started out pretty much the same. Woke up early, or at least tried to. Took a quick shower, breakfast and then dressed up in my green uniform. Got my handbag minus my laptop (I thought I could just use the pc at work), after all, I'm only going to be working half of the day to make up for the day when I wasn't around during the Sportsfest and Family Day for employees (I opted to attend SPED class). I took my digital camera with me to document my last day.

As usual, got to work before 7:30 am. Walked the rest of the way going to Munich from Luxembourg College Gate. Timed in using the bundy clock and went inside the Preschool faculty room where I stay.

I started the day with putting away things, and trying to get my bearings so to speak. I turned on Ms. Jenneth's pc to play some music. T. Darlene and Eira were around but they stayed mostly in Darlene's classroom.

The rest of the day I spent with completing last minute paperwork. Then Ms. Jenneth and I went to Select to buy food. The canteen was closed since it was the start of vacation, well, for most people. It took us awhile there since the sales lady was still heating water for the instant noodles which Ms. Jenneth was craving. I can't say I blame her, our breakfast has been out of sync the last 2 weeks so we've been eating at weird times of the day.

Then we went back to Munich, had snacks with T. Avic, had a little chitchat and then it was back to work afterwards. At around 12:00 NN, T. Avic left and we also left. Ms. Jenneth was there to take pictures as I stepped out of the Faculty Room, timed out and left the premises.

And that ends my six years in SISC. My last day at work, seemed like any day at work but its different, I won't be back as an employee anymore. Good bye SISC and thank you!!!

KRA Night

Last night, was KRA Night 2006 - 2007. It was a time to say good bye and say hello to the new members of the school. Also, its a time to acknowledge the accomplishments of the teachers and staff.

Congratulations T. Nanette and T. Beth and also the other teachers in ECED. Keep it up!

The best part for me, is dressing up...hehehehe...cause its the only time I would actually deign to wear something with a skirt..hehehe...
