Last Thursday, November 24, Laryh celebrated her birthday bash. The food was great: garlic and corn, beef caldereta, fried chicken, lots of drinks, cake and ice cream (although I didn't get to sample that til the next day).
I left work early to get the cake but got stuck in traffic on the way. Sadly, I got lost too...hehehehe. Yeah, I am not known for my spatial intelligence. Can't for the life of me get the right directions nor get my bearings. Its like I always need to get lost before I can remember the place. And I did get lost...hehehehehe. There was carrying the box, looking around. Finally, I asked someone but they didn't know Mems (Mems, kala ko ba notorious ka sa place nyo...hehehehe). Finally, I tried to call but alas, my darned phone decided at that moment to lose power. Uh oh.
Hoping that people wouldn't mistake me for a burglar, I started checking out the doors one by one and peering inside. I knew that Mem's place wasn't near the store so I had to backtrack. I knew also that it was somewhere near the big dogs who were outside the house. Luckily, just as I was looking, Laryh, was on the couch leaning and I could see her from outside. Hehehehe!!! Yahoo!! I found the place.
I got the opportunity to meet Laryh's mom and her lil bro. I had met him previously when I borrowed DVDs from Laryh.
I had a really great time there and looked forward to going back...which wasn't that long.
Oh, and if there was something I learned that day, it was how to buy cake. I didn't know that the candles were free. Hmmm...that's something knew, hey I don't really buy cake ya know. I just eat them...hehehehehe.
